After 10 years of painting and exhibiting throughout the United States and Europe, Alain Despert decided to once again paint in the peace and tranquility of the island which first inspired his creative talent. His studio is located on Bora Bora - “the most beautiful island in the world” - in French Polynesia about 150 miles northwest of Tahiti.
